WHY DO I CARE ABOUT AIR CAVITIES?
The air cavities trap air, are filled with a Low-E gas and don’t only greatly reduce the hot and cold transfer of energy in and out of your home, but also reduce the rate of sound penetrating into your home from outside.
Triple-pane windows generally offer better energy efficiency and insulation than double-pane windows, indicated by lower U-values (a measure of heat transfer) and higher R-values (a measure of resistance to heat flow).
Here’s a more detailed comparison:
U-Value (Heat Transfer):
- Double-pane: Typically have U-values around 0.26 to 0.29.
- Triple-pane: Can achieve U-values as low as 0.15 or even lower.
R-Value (Insulation):
- Double-pane: Typically have R-values ranging from R-3 to R-5.
- Triple-pane: Can have R-values between R-6 and R-9.
Other Key Differences:
- Energy Efficiency:Triple-pane windows offer better insulation, reducing heat loss in winter and heat gain in summer, leading to lower energy bills and a more comfortable indoor environment.
- Noise Reduction:Triple-pane windows provide better sound insulation compared to double-pane windows.
- Condensation:Triple-pane windows are less prone to condensation compared to double-pane windows.
- Cost:Triple-pane windows are generally more expensive than double-pane windows, but the increased cost can be offset by long-term energy savings.
- Weight:Triple pane windows are heavier than double pane windows.
- Frame Material:Triple pane windows require a strong frame material that will be durable enough to withstand the weight. Vinyl is not only strong enough, but also cost effective and resilient.
- Gas Fill:Triple pane windows have gas injected into both air fill spaces between the panes of glass, significantly increasing the energy efficiency of a triple glazed window

The Estezo Family believes that everything we do should tell a story. In 2009 Estezo Estates was founded by Orlando-Jose Estezo and his eldest son Jerson-Daniel Estezo in a joint effort to provide a different and better type of home construction and renovation service, One that would focus on better building practices and better materials that would really last, to stand the test of time and remain strong and beautiful for future generations.

profit. In other words, a good compromise among those elements. With compromise, no one element can reach its full potential. One has to give way for the other to balance. But if someone loves what they do and takes pride in their work (passion), they will spend extra time and go the extra mile to make sure the product they are building reaches its potential.”
